چکیده
Thermoelectric coolers (TECs) are widely used in state-of-the-art thermal management systems. Recently, there is a big trend to power TECs using thermoelectric generators (TEGs). Mainstream research efforts focus on attaining higher figure of merit (ZT) material, which now faces great challenge. Alternatively, this article proposes different approach improve the performance TEC, that is, integration TEG with TEC. The converts collected heat energy into electric current, reduces consumption and enhances cooling capacity Using methods connecting TEC TEG, two collaborative systems proposed. Accurate SPICE models established. experimental results demonstrate discrepancy between currents flowing through experiments less than 4.8% average. Based verified models, proposed TEC-TEG assessed terms consumption, capacity, coefficient performance, efficiency. Compared typical Peltier system, achieve significant improvements.

An analytic model for optimizing thermoelectric power generation system is developed and utilized for parametric studies. This model takes into account the external thermal resistances with hot and cold reservoirs. In addition, the spreading thermal resistance in the module substrates is considered to find the impact of designing small fraction of thermo elements per unit area. Previous studies...
